The Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr. Eric CHAN, along with Legislative Council member Mr. Tommy CHEUNG; the Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Mr. Chris SUN; and representatives from five participating catering groups, officiated at the launch ceremony of Caring Food Coupon Programme on 14 January 2025. Methodist Centre representatives and elderly persons also participated in the launch ceremony to witness this caring initiative. The program will distribute food coupons to targeted elderly persons through 214 subvented elderly centres across the city, aiming to convey the community's care for the elderly persons and to build a harmonious and caring society together.
