Methodist Centre has always been promoting the concept of racial inclusion. Following the earlier signing of the "Racial Diversity & Inclusion Charter"(the "Charter") advocated by the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC), the Centre was very honoured to be invited to attend the celebration of the sixth anniversary of the "Charter" and 15th anniversary of the implementation of the Race Discrimination Ordinance last Friday (29 November 2024). The event featured The Hon Mrs Regina IP LAU Suk-yee, GBM, GBS, JP, The Convenor of the Non-official Members of the Executive Council, as the officiating guest. The number of institutions that have signed the charter has now risen to nearly 500, marking another milestone in the promotion of racial integration by the EOC. This allows organisations from various sectors to achieve workplace racial inclusion.
