Head of HR
Methodist Centre is looking for a seasoned Human Resources professional to manage the strategy and processes related to building and retaining an exceptional staff team to meet the continuous growth of the organization.
  • Work with the senior leadership team to develop a company culture that fully reflects the Mission and Value of the organization, and create a welcoming, energizing, and rewarding place of work;
  • Continue to mine new talent pools, provide a candidate-centric recruiting experience and serve as a brand builder to help attract the best and most suitable talent;
  • Take a lead in the organizational design that is conducive to building an empowered and engaged workforce, and facilitating individual career development;
  • Analyse human capital data and industry trends to guide recommendations on human resources policy and forecast workforce trends;
  • Be a change agent and lead change management efforts as they relate to human capital;
  • Serve as an internal consultant and advisor to the senior leadership team on all people-related matters;
  • Manage the effective delivery of all HR processes and daily operations.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline;
  • 8 years of relevant experience from sizable organizations, preferably in social service or public sector;
  • Possess strong business acumen, influencing capability and innovative mindset;
  •  A people manager, an ability to empathize and willing to go beyond the normal call of duty;
  • Embrace and willing to live out the Mission and Value of the organization;
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and preferably Mandarin;
  • Proficient in MS office with a working knowledge of data and technology.
