Methodist Centre representatives participated in the "Connecting Hearts" exchange tour to Guangzhou for staff of social welfare organizations of Hong Kong from 4 to 6 December 2024. Professor TAM Kam Lan, Annie, GBS, JP, Vice Chairperson of the Hong Kong Social Welfare Sector Heart to Heart Joint Action cum Head of Connecting Hearts Academy and Mr. TAN Tick Yee, Principal Advisor (Elderly Services) of the Social Welfare Department Headquarters Elderly Branch, also joined the tour. This exchange tour primarily visited various elderly care homes in Guangzhou and engaged in interactive sharing sessions with local staff, fostering professional exchange between the two places in social services.
