The service unit was established in 2009 and named "Methodist Kin Lok Centre", symbolising the health and happiness in the elderly's lives. It not only provides community-based elderly service in Shau Kei Wan district, also provides the Social Welfare Department subsidised Community Care Service Voucher Scheme (CCSV) for the Elderly, allowing frail elderly persons to receive continuous care in their familiar community and age in place, and also support their families and caregivers to relieve caregiving stress.
