Course Objectives
This course provides training in children's play therapy techniques to help children express their feelings and resolve emotional problems through play. Learn how to use play as a therapeutic tool to support children's emotional and mental health.
Course Content
Theoretical basis and development history of play therapy (Lessons 1-2): Introduce the core theory and development history of play therapy, and learn how to create a safe and supportive environment through games to help children express their inner emotions and solve problems. Play Therapy Tools and Techniques (Lessons 3-4): Learn how to use various play therapy tools, such as sand table, role play, painting and story creation, etc., and understand the application of different techniques in different situations. Case Analysis and Practical Application (Lesson 5): Through case analysis, explore the application of play therapy in children’s emotional problems, behavioral problems and traumatic experiences. Participants will learn how to observe and interpret children's behavior during play. Practical exercises and reflection (Lesson 6): Students will conduct simulations of play therapy and practice methods of establishing therapeutic connections with children under the guidance of instructors. After completion, conduct reflection and discussion to summarize the challenges and learning experiences in practice.
