Discover the art of Taiwanese pastries and steamed buns. This hands-on workshop will teach participants how to use traditional techniques to prepare classic Taiwanese cuisine.
Course Content
"Introduction and cultural background of Taiwanese dim sum (first 30 minutes): Understand the characteristics of Taiwan’s traditional dim sum, such as red bean buns, sesame glutinous rice balls, etc., and their importance in Taiwanese culture. Taiwanese dim sum practice (1 hour and 30 minutes): Students make Taiwanese dim sum by themselves, learn the authentic filling techniques and how to master the steaming time to create Taiwanese food with perfect taste. "
