Course Objectives

This course introduces the basics of green coffee beans, including bean selection, processing methods, and quality assessment.

Course Content

"Green Coffee Basics (Section 1): Introduces the basic knowledge of green coffee beans, including coffee varieties, origins, processing methods and the impact on flavor. Participants will learn how to identify the quality of green coffee beans and understand the supply of the coffee industry Chain and ethical sourcing. Green Coffee Grading and Sensory Evaluation (Section 2): Get an in-depth understanding of the grading system of green coffee beans and learn basic methods of sensory evaluation, such as smell, appearance and density testing. Participants will personally test the quality of green coffee beans and discuss how to choose coffee beans suitable for roasting. "
