Course Objectives
This course focuses on the nutritional needs of pregnant women and provides guidance on how to develop a balanced diet that supports fetal development and maternal health. Learn about various essential nutrients and dietary adjustments during different stages of pregnancy.
Course Content
Nutritional needs and basics during pregnancy (Lesson 1): Introduce the nutritional needs of pregnant women at various stages of pregnancy, and understand the impact of protein, iron, folic acid, calcium and other important nutrients on the development of the mother and fetus. Learn how to obtain the necessary nutrients through diet Nutrients to maintain health. Common nutritional problems and dietary adjustments during pregnancy (Lecture 2): Discuss common nutritional problems during pregnancy, such as morning sickness, anemia and constipation, learn how to alleviate these problems by adjusting dietary habits, and provide targeted suggestions. Pregnancy meal planning and recipe design (Lesson 3): Learn how to design a balanced pregnancy meal plan, including breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack arrangements. Nutritious meal menu examples are designed in class, and students can learn how to match ingredients to meet nutritional needs at different stages of pregnancy. Personalized Nutrition Guidance and Practical Application (Lesson 4): Learn how to provide personalized nutrition guidance based on the health status, weight changes and personal needs of pregnant women. Through case discussions and simulation exercises, master the skills of providing nutritional advice to pregnant women in practical work.
