Course Objectives
This course delves into the whiskey making process, types and regional differences. Attendees will learn to identify flavors, learn about the aging process, and appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into whiskey making.
Course Content
"Course content: The history and production process of whiskey (first 30 minutes): Introduce the origin of whiskey, the flavor characteristics of different origins (such as Scotland, Ireland, the United States, Japan, etc.), and learn the impact of distillation, aging, fermentation and other production processes on the flavor. Drinking Techniques and Flavor Identification (30 minutes): Learn professional whiskey tasting techniques, including visual, olfactory and taste analysis, and master how to describe the aroma, taste and finish of whiskey. Practical tasting and sharing (1 hour): Participants will personally taste a variety of whiskeys from different origins and aging times to understand the flavor differences between them. Instructors provide professional tasting guidance and exchange tasting experiences. "
